Recognition as a “Guangzhou Exhibition Partner”
RAI China, together with more than 10 leading enterprises including Informa, RX, Sinopharm-Links, GL events and Messe Frankfurt, was awarded the "Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Partner" certificate. Together, they are committed to building a collaborative ecosystem of "Government + Partners + Industry Players + Service Providers," positioning the MICE industry as a golden hallmark that empowers urban industrial growth and showcases the city's vibrant openness.

In recent years, Guangzhou, an international trade hub and a national advanced manufacturing base, has upheld the legacy of a millennia-old commercial capital while fostering renewed urban vitality. A complete industrial system covering thirty-five major industrial categories has taken shape, supported by six hundred-billion-yuan-level advanced manufacturing clusters and a trillion-yuan consumer market. As global attention to sustainable development continues to grow, the remanufacturing industry, as an important component of the circular economy, is entering a period of significant development opportunities.
Against this backdrop, the Rematec Asia Summit, was held on 28 August 2025 at The Langham Hotel, Guangzhou. The forum was jointly organised by RAI China, China National Machinery Industry International Co., Ltd. and the CPRA of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers. It focused on future opportunities for Sino-European cooperation in automotive remanufacturing and on promoting high-quality development of the remanufacturing industry, in alignment with Guangzhou’s modern industrial system framework known as “12218”, particularly its one overarching requirement and two main development directions.

About the 2025 Rematec Asia Summit
In August in Guangzhou, with kapok blossoms in full bloom, the 2025 Rematec Asia Summit brought together more than 200 participants from China and the European Union, including government officials, industry leaders, research experts and representatives of investment institutions, for in-depth discussions on policy alignment, technology sharing and industrial collaboration.

As the flagship programme of the Rematec Asia exhibition, the Rematec Asia Summit was widely covered by Xinhua News Agency, Southern Daily and Macao Daily. It will further strengthen its role as a globally connected cooperation hub linking Asia and Europe, and advance mutually beneficial development of the remanufacturing industry on a broader scale and at a higher level.
Field Visit
On August 29, the Rematec Asia Summit held a field visit. More than 30 representatives of international organisations, senior executives from multinational automotive companies, and remanufacturing experts and scholars from the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Italy, Russia, New Zealand, Canada and Singapore conducted a full-chain visit along the route The Langham Hotel, GAC Aion, UPOWER ENERGY, KABEER, Kaitong Auto Parts City and Worldwide Transmission, reviewing the full process from complete vehicles to components, from research and development to market application, and from policy design to practical implementation.

Participants unanimously said China’s remanufacturing industry has moved from pilot demonstration to scaled development, providing a Guangzhou example of strong reference value for the green transformation of the global automotive industry.

With a solid industrial base, Guangzhou’s exhibitions sector has developed rapidly, serving as an important driver of economic growth, a key window for opening up and a major platform for industrial upgrading. Going forward, RAI China will continue to work with partners to deepen exhibition and industry integration and support Guangzhou’s exhibition economy in expanding its international reach.
